Prismacolor Portraits

Personal Work | Color Pencil on Paper, 2024

 Honey Decay   11" x 17"

Honey Decay is a self-portrait that highlights vivid, warm tones blending to create a luminous, almost dewy effect. The intentional absence or alteration of features like the ears, eyebrows, and hair conveys a sense of gradual erosion, symbolizing themes of decay and transformation.

Uncle William  18" x 24"

Uncle William is a familial portrait that draws attention to the use of false-color skin tones, emphasizing bold red hues accented by striking purple patches. The absence of defining features like the neck and torso leaves the figure incomplete, directing focus to the face.
